SPN is a membership-based organization, open to single professionals who are recommended for membership by at least one member. A professional is defined as a person with one or more of the following characteristics:

- Possessing a bachelors degree or professional certificate from an accredited institution of higher education
- Employed in a supervisory or management position
- Self-employed
- Having a 100% commission-based job
- Having any occupational equivalent of a professional
- Retired from a professional position as defined above

Cost of membership is $50 per year, running on a calendar year basis starting in the month the membership application is approved by the Board of Directors.

Each member is requested to host or sponsor at least one event during the first 6 months of membership. In this way, new members will become actively involved and will interact with others to plan and schedule an activity. Its the best way to jump right in and get to know other members quickly.
