A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT:

The 36th Anniversary Party is now in the rear-view mirror! Everyone had positive comments on how much fun it was. I particularly liked Margaret’s statement that it was a “roaring success!” Many members came early to help the Board set up and stayed to help clean up, and we really appreciated that. Our favorite DJ Paul Davis selected a great variety of music for the evening; and there was lots of dancing, including several line dances, the twist, cotton-eyed joe, and more. Most fun was Susanne’s promised “Chicken Dance.” Of course, we couldn’t let her have all the fun so we joined in! Last, but not least, the new Board for 2024-25 was installed. It was a great night!

The next major attraction is the annual Kentucky Derby Party at a member's home. Then we have a weenie roast at a member’s hill country home (weather permitting), and a Memorial Day Party at a member’s neighborhood clubhouse. This is in addition to all our happy hours twice every week.

SPN President
